"European Values & Institutions" is supposed to introduce you to the fundamental concepts, tasks and competencies of the European Union - the framework of states in which we find ourselves. In addition, the following three chapters will inform you about the beginnings and the history of the EU and the motivation behind the development of a meanwhile established and 27-member network of states.

In addition to the basics of the structure, function and tasks of the European institutions, you will gain insights into the legislative process, which implements the missions and visions of the EU and thus shows what requirements this complex system has to meet and master.
